At University Obstetrics & Gynecology the quality of care drives is of utmost importance to us. Your time is important and the time you spend with us is appreciated. Although we would never intentionally abuse that privilege it is impossible to predict when emergencies and other matters arise that consume more time than we may have planned for. Rest assured the quality of care we provide is equal to all patients. We appreciate your patience, support and understanding.

What to Expect

  • Please arrive to your first appointment 30 minutes earlier than your actual scheduled time. This helps give us time to prepare your chart and have it ready by your scheduled appointment time.
  • In general, you should allow up to two hours for your total visit time on your first appointment (from the time you arrive to the time you checkout).
  • Be sure to bring your insurance card and a picture identification (drivers license or other state-issued ID).
  • Please be prepared to pay for any deductibles, co-pays or co-insurance payments required by your insurance carrier at the time of your visit. See payment policy section for more information.

Payments

We do collect all copays before your exam. For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, Visa, and personal checks.

Please understand that although we try to pre-verify all insurance information, understanding your insurance benefits is your responsibility.

Cancelations

Although we don't have a formal cancelation policy, we do ask that patients who are unable to keep their scheduled appointments please notify us 24 hours in advance as a common as a courtesy. Doing so helps us ensure the prompt office visits for all patients and allows us to focus on each individual patient's needs.
